Project Overview

Oral health plays a crucial role in overall well-being, especially for individuals undergoing cancer treatment. However, oral assessment and management are often overlooked, leading to potential complications if left untreated. Nurses, as frontline care providers, can significantly contribute to assessing, managing, and promoting oral health among cancer survivors. However, findings have indicated deficiencies in their knowledge and skills in this area.

Aims & Objectives

This project aims to address the gaps in nurses' knowledge and training regarding oral healthcare for cancer patients in the UAE.
