The importance of maintaining healthy weight in childhood is well recognised. New guidelines inform the provision of growth assessment and dietary advice for children in the dental setting, and as dental professionals have not previously played a significant role in children’s health weight, it is anticipated that a guideline implementation strategy (GIS) will be required for adherence to these guidelines. This three-phase study aims to therefore review the existing literature, co-design and evaluate a GIS for the new guidelines.
This project aims to develop an implementation strategy to facilitate the translation of these new guidelines into practice. The project will be undertaken across the following 3 phases:
